Responsibilities:

•     Safely transport orders from our restaurant to customers' locations within the New York City area.
•     Ensure that all orders are accurately packed, complete, and in perfect condition before delivery.
•     Provide friendly and professional customer service during the delivery process, representing our restaurant in a positive manner.
•     Maintain a clean and well-maintained delivery vehicle, conducting routine checks for safety and cleanliness.
•     Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
•     Efficiently manage delivery routes to ensure on-time deliveries.
•     Handle cash and payments accurately, when required.
•     Assist in basic restaurant tasks when not on delivery duty, such as food preparation and packing orders.
•     Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

1.     Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
2.     Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
3.     Knowledge and passion for Indian cuisine is a definite plus.
4.     Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5.     Familiarity with New York City streets and neighborhoods.
6.     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
7.     Professional and punctual work ethic.
8.     Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items.
9.     Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
